What's Ishowspeed's Real Name? the Real Person Behind the Streamer
By Alexander Ross
Watkins avoided the trap of remaining confined to bedroom streams by aggressively targeting mainstream sports and global music. His vocal passion for soccer, specifically his public idolization of Cristiano Ronaldo, redirected his brand into European, Asian, and Latin American sporting markets.
His music output proved surprisingly durable. In 2022, Watkins released "World Cup" ahead of the FIFA tournament in Qatar. The song collected hundreds of millions of plays across Spotify and YouTube, charting internationally and earning a gold certification. Track releases like "Shake" and "Ronaldo (Sewey)" reinforced his status as a recording artist who could convert streaming hype into radio and club rotation.
His athletic participation completed the crossover. Watkins made headline appearances at the annual Sidemen Charity Match in the United Kingdom, pulling in millions of concurrent viewers while sharing the pitch with professional players and premier European content creators. By the time he covered international matches heading toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup cycle, Watkins was receiving pitch-side media passes and direct invitations from national federations.
