West Elm Sale Calendar Revealed: When Major Discounts and Promo Events Go Live

A common sticking point for buyers is the flat-rate white-glove delivery fee. Large furniture pieces, including beds, sofas, and dining tables, require specialized carrier delivery. These freight fees range from $159 to upward of $399 depending on shipping distance and total order value.
A true West Elm free shipping code for oversize freight does not exist. The brand strictly excludes large furniture from site-wide shipping promos. Codes advertising free shipping almost exclusively apply to small parcel items, like throw pillows, hardware, curtains, and select bedding.
Shoppers looking to minimize freight costs should consolidate orders. West Elm uses an unlimited flat-rate delivery model for white-glove eligible items: shipping a sofa, a dining table, and two nightstands on the same order costs the exact same flat rate as shipping the sofa alone. Staggering separate large orders across multiple months results in repeated freight charges that quickly cancel out any seasonal discount gains.
