Virtual Tour of Greiner Hall: Floor Plans, Amenities, and Real Living Spaces
The defining feature of Greiner Hall is its modified double-suite layout. Unlike the apartment complexes at South Lake or Hadley, Greiner suites do not include full private kitchens or dedicated interior living rooms. Instead, the design optimizes square footage for sleeping, studying, and personal privacy.
Each suite houses four students split across two distinct double bedrooms. A small shared vestibule inside the front door connects both bedrooms to a shared, split-bathroom configuration. The bath setup avoids morning bottlenecks through smart compartmentalization: the shower stall occupies one enclosed space, the toilet occupies another, and a double sink vanity sits outside both cubicles. This allows three suite-mates to use different hygiene facilities simultaneously without sacrificing privacy.
Standard bedroom dimensions measure roughly 11 feet by 16 feet per room. Each occupant receives an extra-long twin bed frame, an adjustable mattress, a three-drawer modular dresser, and a study desk with an ergonomic chair. While storage space is functional, the absence of an internal living room means students must be deliberate about arranging their desks and personal shelving. Natural light is a distinct asset; floor-to-ceiling perimeter windows run through the exterior walls, delivering daylight levels rarely seen in older dorms like Red Jacket or Richmond.
