Lauren German Dating Timeline: from Chicago Fire to Lucifer and Beyond
By Marcus Vance
Digging into German's actual dating history reveals how brief her public romantic trail really is. Her only documented celebrity relationship involved actor Ashton Holmes, best known for his roles in David Cronenberg's A History of Violence and the ABC drama series Revenge.
The two actors dated from roughly 2009 through 2010. During that period, Holmes accompanied German to industry premieres and red carpet photo calls, giving photographers rare glimpses of her off-screen life. Entertainment columnists documented the connection at the time, but neither party turned the breakup into a media circus. Once the relationship ended quietly in 2010, German shifted her approach. She chose not to walk red carpets with romantic interests again.
