By Chloe Bennett
The gap between seasons of Mr. & Mrs. Smith has felt long, but it represents deliberate creative maintenance rather than studio dysfunction. With Yonatan Gebeyehu stepping into the agency's crosshairs and Donald Glover guiding development from behind the camera, the next phase promises to expand the world without copying past blueprints. Television viewers will have to wait until early 2027 to see the results, but the groundwork being laid in Los Angeles indicates the franchise is evolving on its own terms.
