By Alexander Ross
To understand how simple stream banter morphed into genuine search trends, it helps to look at the flashpoints that generated the most persistent rumors over the past several years.
| Timeframe | The Viral Claim / Chat Gimmick | Verified Reality |
|---|---|---|
| Late 2022, Early 2023 | "Secret High School Sweetheart" rumors surface on TikTok fan channels during his rapid initial breakout. | Unsubstantiated fan fiction; Baker clarified he worked ordinary maintenance and retail jobs prior to streaming without any public partner. |
| Mid 2023, Early 2024 | Viewers claim hearing female voices in the background during late-night horror game streams, sparking wife rumors. | Audio bleed from Discord calls or his mother checking in on him; Baker confirmed on stream that no partner lives with him. |
| Late 2024, 2025 | Collaborative streams with fellow creators spawn "shipping" threads and fabricated dating announcements. | Purely professional networking and platform crossovers; both parties repeatedly dismissed the claims as typical internet shipping culture. |
| Early 2026 | Sponsored lifestyle streams (including his Jan 19 Cicis Pizza event) lead chat to hunt for reflections of a girlfriend filming. | Solo production; broadcasts remain entirely solo or assisted off-camera by trusted immediate family members. |
