Boulevard Pizza Lbi Fire Timeline: How the Early-Morning Beach Haven Blaze Unfolded
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
Daylight revealed the scale of destruction along the block. The kitchen, prep counters, and dining spaces of BLVD Pizza sustained catastrophic Boulevard Pizza fire damage. Charred roof timbers hung downward into the dining area, while industrial ovens and walk-in refrigeration units were buried under soot, fallen drywall, and twisted metal ducts. The pizzeria, which served thousands of slices daily during peak summer weekends, was completely decommissioned.
Directly beside the restaurant, the Sincerely June boutique suffered catastrophic smoke and water damage. Fire crews cut structural inspection holes into the shared party walls to ensure no burning embers were traveling through horizontal voids. While the boutique did not suffer the full direct burn experienced by the pizzeria, water poured down through light fixtures and display ceilings, ruining apparel collections, retail fixtures, and inventory. As photographic records published by regional reporters confirmed, the retail floor was submerged under several inches of runoff by daybreak.
