Every pull in Zenless Zone Zero runs through dedicated currencies. The Exclusive Channel serves as the primary gateway for limited S-Rank agents, requiring Encrypted Master Tape items priced at 160 Polychromes apiece. These character banners run for roughly 21 days each, splitting every standard six-week patch cycle into two distinct halves.

Running in direct lockstep with the character banner is the W-Engine Channel. This equipment pool targets the featured agent's signature gear. It demands the same Encrypted Master Tape currency, creating immediate friction for players forced to choose between expanding their active roster or heavily optimizing a single operative's numeric performance.

The base baseline is held by the Stable Channel ("Star-Studded Cast"), powered by standard Master Tapes. This permanent pool features evergreen units such as Lycaon, Grace, Rina, Soldier 11, Koleda, and Nekomata. Savvy players never convert Polychromes into standard Master Tapes; the game awards baseline tapes freely via account progression, character promotions, and battle pass milestones.

The fourth track, the Bangboo Channel, functions entirely independently. It operates on Boopons, a ticket type earned strictly through gameplay activities, hollow exploration, and recurring events. HoYoverse completely decoupled premium currency from Bangboos: you cannot spend real cash or Polychromes here, and target S-Rank Bangboos are guaranteed at 100% certainty without a 50/50 coin toss.
