Why Roblox Removed Tung Tung Sahur: Inside the Brainrot Mascot Copyright Battle
By Elena Rostova
The abrupt eradication of the spawn cycle triggered an aggressive market reaction. Because the update disabled new spawns but left existing inventories intact inside private player lockers, the supply froze instantly. Angel variants instantly morphed from difficult summons into extinct relics.
| Mascot Variant | Base Multiplier | Pre-Removal Value | Post-Ban Trade Index |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Tung Tung | 2.2x | 450 Coins | 1,200 Robux Equivalent |
| Golden Sahur | 6.0x | 4,800 Coins | 14,500 Robux Equivalent |
| Angel Tung Tung Sahur | 14.5x | 25,000 Coins / Rare Drop | 85,000, 110,000 Robux |
Third-party trading platforms saw account listings skyrocket. Players who had spent minimal time actually playing began liquidating accounts solely because their backpacks stored an authentic Angel variant. Meanwhile, malicious actors flooded community hubs with phishing links masquerading as working Steal a Brainrot codes promising to restore the deleted mascot to any linked profile.
