Who Was Josh Saunders? the Complete Story and Legacy of Youtube's Kingcobrajfs
By Robert Thorne
Speculation surrounding Saunders’ wellbeing began circulating in mid-August 2025 when his channel fell abruptly silent. Because Saunders had struggled with chronic physical health issues, unmanaged lifestyle habits, and intermittent substance dependency for years, an unexplained absence immediately raised alarms among regular viewers.
On August 22, 2025, his father, Clint Saunders, a respected Casper-based theater educator and photographer, uploaded an emotional video confirming the worst. Speaking directly to the camera with quiet dignity, Clint announced that his son had passed away at age 34. He thanked the genuine fans who had shown his son authentic kindness over the years while urging the digital public to treat the family with respect during their private grief.
The confirmation transformed what had been cynical message-board gossip into collective mourning. Outlets across Wyoming covered the announcement, underscoring how an eccentric local resident had quietly become one of the state’s most-viewed exports. Fellow video essayists and streaming personalities dedicated multi-hour tribute streams to Saunders, honoring the humanity behind the screen.
