Who Is Lee Asher's Wife? Fact-Checking Sara Moore's Role at the Asher House
Lee Asher walked away from a lucrative corporate career in financial sales in 2018. His early objective was simple: visit shelters across every state, finance adoptions, and spotlight forgotten dogs through high-energy social media videos. He lived out of a bus alongside his original pack, including his beloved late dog Luke.
The strategy worked. Asher built an audience exceeding 10 million followers across platforms. But nomadic rescue had inherent limits. Aging, injured, and reactive dogs required permanent infrastructure, not highway travel.
In late 2020, Asher acquired property in Estacada, Oregon, establishing a dedicated, cage-free rescue sanctuary. The land provided open pastures, custom-built community barns, and specialized recovery suites. Managing a multi-acre agricultural compound housing over 40 canines alongside horses, pigs, goats, and alpacas required administrative and physical labor that outstripped a single creator's capacity. As the physical facility expanded, the administrative demands opened the door to dedicated operational partners.
