Justin Chien was born in Taipei, Taiwan, before moving to the United States during his youth. Growing up between dual cultures gave him an intuitive fluency in both English and Mandarin, an asset that distinctively shapes his casting profile today. He pursued formal training at the University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts, graduating with a degree in theater performance.
