Grandma Rita entered the online spotlight through Lance Stewart's rapidly expanding vlog network around 2015 and 2016. While fans simply call her Grandma Rita or "Badass Grandma," public records and family vlogs identify her as Rita Stewart. Born in 1932, Rita celebrated her milestone 90th birthday in 2022, placing her in her early nineties today. Her deep Italian heritage anchored the cultural identity of the household, visible in everything from Lance’s holiday cooking videos to her fiery, expressive reactions when cameras caught her off guard.

The Stewart family dynamic formed the backbone of Lance’s empire. His mother, Nina Stewart (often featured alongside his father, Bruce Stewart), shared an unmistakable rapport with Rita that grounded the chaotic prank formats in relatable generational friction. Lance’s sister, Sabrina Nina Stewart, frequently joined in on the household comedy sketches. Unlike content houses where unrelated creators staged artificial drama, the Stewarts operated as an authentic family business. Rita sat squarely at the emotional center of that setup, balancing traditional matriarchal warmth with an uncanny knack for deadpan comedic timing.
