Who Is Amelia Dimoldenberg? Career, Wikipedia Profile, Net Worth, and What’s Next

After more than a decade of perfecting bite-sized situational comedy, Dimoldenberg is staging an exit from short-form internet clips. In February 2026, Yahoo Entertainment reported that she is developing an original romantic comedy feature with Amazon MGM Studios. Dimoldenberg is attached to both write the screenplay and play the lead role.
The deal represents a notable validation of online-native creators stepping directly into the legacy studio system. As Collider observed in their analysis of the project, Dimoldenberg’s humor borrows structural tropes from classic British romantic comedies, think Bridget Jones's Diary or Four Weddings and a Funeral, and fuses them with dry internet cynicism. Taking that comedic lens to a two-hour theatrical canvas presents new creative challenges, but it also frees her from relying indefinitely on the same seven-minute restaurant set.
She has built an audience that actively roots for her creative autonomy. Expanding into studio-backed filmmaking proves that her deadpan persona was never an accidental social media trick; it was the foundation of an enduring comedic career.
