The sequence that dominates social media clips occurs on the third floor of Onigashima’s banquet hall during the climax of the Wano Country arc. Lured away from the main battlefield by the engineered sounds of a woman in distress, Sanji runs headfirst into an ambush laid by Black Maria, one of the Beast Pirates' elite Tobiroppo.

Black Maria utilizes the powers of the Ancient Zoan Kumo Kumo no Mi, Model: Rosamygale grauvogeli, weaving dense, flame-retardant spider webs across the chamber. In Episode 1020, Sanji is completely ensnared. Suspended mid-air with his limbs bound tightly in adhesive silk, he cannot generate the friction needed for Diable Jambe without burning away his own mobility.

Black Maria attempts to force him into luring Nico Robin directly into the trap so the Beast Pirates can exploit her ability to read Poneglyphs. Rather than fighting back, Sanji takes blow after blow. Brass knuckles repeatedly smash into his face, bloodying his brow while his captors mock his helplessness. To the shock of Kaido’s forces, Sanji does not stay silent or attempt a suicidal escape. He uses the Marys' island-wide broadcast system to scream at the top of his lungs: "Save me, Robin-chan!"
