Where Is Belle Delphine Now? Tracing Her Public Moves and Hiatuses
By Alexander Ross
Delphine’s career broke the traditional influencer mold. In the late 2010s, conventional wisdom held that internet personalities had to project approachability and authenticity. Delphine offered hyper-stylized satire instead. She leaned into gaming stereotypes, internet fetish cultures, and anime aesthetics, mocking the male gaze while monetizing it.
Her bathwater campaign remains a defining case study in internet culture. She proved that irony could be packaged, shipped, and monetized without traditional corporate backing. Today, creators across streaming platforms deploy stylized personas inspired by her aesthetic. Yet few duplicate her discipline: the ability to walk away from the camera when the job is done.
