Where Did 'I Love You Guys We Are Tadc' Come from? the Clips and Posts That Started It

The lifespan of an indie animation meme follows a distinct timeline: sincere appreciation gives way to parody, which eventually mutates into surreal abstract humor.
| Phase & Timeline | Primary Platform | Core Format & Fandom Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 (Late 2023, Early 2024) | YouTube & Twitch | Cast livestreams, voice actor read-outs, and early clip compilations mocking cinematic clichés. |
| Phase 2 (Mid 2024, 2025) | TikTok & Instagram Reels | Short-form audio splicing. Creators pair the dialogue with distorted strings and tragic slow-motion animatics. |
| Phase 3 (Late 2025, 2026) | Cross-Platform Ecosystem | Post-ironic community shorthand. Used as a mock recap line for major plot twists leading up to Episode 9. |
In early iterations, fans used the clip over unhinged Jax and Pomni edits. Creators would show Pomni experiencing an existential spiral, only for Jax to deadpan the line with zero emotional awareness. By 2025, the joke expanded into mock crossover videos, pairing the dialogue with completely unrelated franchises like Murder Drones, Hazbin Hotel, or vintage 2000s anime tropes.
