Viral Horse and Miniature Donkey Videos Exposed: Real Breeding or Clickbait?
By Alexander Ross
The biomechanics of natural equine mating require physical parity. A mature light horse stallion weighs between 900 and 1,200 pounds, while heavy draft breeds routinely exceed 1,800 pounds. Miniature donkeys rarely weigh more than 200 to 350 pounds and stand under 36 inches at the withers. Placing those two animals in an unrestricted breeding scenario creates catastrophic physical hazard.
During natural service, a stallion rests a substantial portion of his body weight directly upon the mare's lumbar spine and hindquarters. For a miniature jenny, that load brings instant disaster. Crushed spinal vertebrae, broken pelvic bones, and severed femoral joints can occur within seconds. Internal trauma from tissue tearing represents an immediate risk if a full-sized stallion attempts intromission with an undersized female. No ethical breeder allows such pairing.
