The bridge between an underground British drill artist and the star of Dune sounds absurd on paper. The internet, however, found its fuel. It began on TikTok in mid-November 2025, where creators started isolating EsDeeKid's vocal tracks. Underneath the heavy distortion and British slang, commentators claimed to hear the distinct vocal inflection of Chalamet's infamous teenage high-school rap persona, "Lil Timmy Tim."

The voice comparison theory quickly mutated into physical forensic breakdown. Users created side-by-side edits comparing the fraction of EsDeeKid’s visible eyes and brow line to Chalamet’s red-carpet appearances. When British GQ published a deep dive on November 24, 2025, interrogating the legitimacy of the rumors, mainstream outlets picked up the trail. Comment threads on Reddit dissected every music video cameo and hand gesture, calculating hand-span measurements and posture quirks. What began as a niche audio meme transformed into genuine celebrity investigative gossip.
