Timeline of Rhony's Political Evolution: from Discreet Galas to Run Rumors
By Chloe Bennett
Q1: Did any RHONY cast members run for political office while on the show?
A1: No cast member launched a formal campaign while holding an active contract on the series. Sonja Morgan frequently referenced ties to the historic Adams and Morgan political lineages, and Carole Radziwill worked as an active political reporter prior to joining, but neither ran for office during filming.
Q2: Why was the Season 13 reunion cancelled?
A2: Bravo cancelled the Season 13 reunion following an independent workplace investigation into allegations of racial insensitivity on set. Intense friction surrounding discussions of race, social justice, and voter politics left the cast deeply divided, preventing productive filming before network executives decided to reboot the franchise entirely.
Q3: Are Ramona Singer's Florida political plans confirmed?
A3: As reported in May 2025 by regional entertainment outlets, Singer actively explored running for local advisory and municipal offices in the Palm Beach area. While she consulted advisors and gauged donor interest, she has not filed federal campaign documents, keeping her efforts focused on regional and municipal circles.
