The Vig Chicago Expands North: Why the Iconic Sports Parlor Chose Milwaukee’s Couture
The decision to anchor inside The Couture did not happen in a vacuum. Developed by Barrett Lo Visionary Development, the 44-story residential skyscraper at 909 E. Michigan Street took years to finance and construct, finally opening its luxury residential units to tenants before completing its retail components.
The tower is unique in Wisconsin architecture. It integrates a multimodal transit hub directly inside its base, serving as a terminal for The Hop streetcar and the Milwaukee County Transit System's Bus Rapid Transit line.

The space features oversized glass walls framing Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee Art Museum, giving the sports parlor an architectural backdrop impossible to replicate on Wells Street.
