The Ultimate Dallas North Aquarium Visitor Guide: Hours, Rare Fish Collections, and Pro Tips
By Robert Thorne
Planning a trip to Dallas North Aquarium requires a bit of timing strategy, especially if you plan to transport live specimens. Located at 2763 E Trinity Mills Rd, Carrollton, TX 75006, the facility maintains steady operating hours throughout the week:
Monday through Friday: 10:00 AM, 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM, 6:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM, 5:00 PM
Weekday mornings between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM provide the quietest browsing environment. During these hours, North Texas aquatic specialists on staff have ample time to discuss plumbing schematics, review nitrate cycles, and test your tank water. Saturday afternoons draw significant family foot traffic and regional hobbyists who travel in from Fort Worth, Tyler, and southern Oklahoma. If your goal involves inspecting specific coral frags under customizable spectrum lighting or bagging sensitive exotic freshwater fish, prioritize weekday visits or arrive right at opening on Saturday.
Robert Thorne covers electric vehicle innovations, autonomous driving systems, global mobility trends, and automotive engineering developments.
