The Original Clip Behind 'I Love You Guys We Are Tadc': Audio and Edits Breakdown
By Elena Rostova
The phrase operates as an intentional anti-climax. Mainstream Hollywood blockbusters often face ridicule when characters deliver clumsy name drops, the infamous "So that's it, huh? We're some kind of Suicide Squad?" effect. The "we are TADC" meme weaponizes that exact narrative misstep.
Online audio sleuths traced the viral track to community voice-over shorts that mashed up character dialogue clips with distorted bass hits and abrupt cutoffs. Rather than pulling clean audio straight from official Glitch episodes, creators mimicked the vocal cadences of Pomni and Jax using pitched microphone filters and Discord-recorded community skits.
The audio relies on distinct, rapid pacing:
- A soft, trembling voice opens with an earnest declaration of love.
- An abrupt, flat cadence pronounces the acronym letter-by-letter or as a blunt phonetic word ("Tad-C").
- An explosive, distorted sound effect immediately cuts off the audio, suggesting sudden disaster.
This structure turned the sound into prime material for kinetic lip-sync animations. Animators used the three-second duration to craft punchy loopable reels where Pomni delivers the line right before an anvil, a digital trapdoor, or an unhinged Caine announcement wipes out the cast.
