A detailed look at The Evolution of Coryxkenshin's Big Mouth Laughing Meme Across Social Media, covering expert perspectives.

Cory Williams launched his YouTube channel in 2009, initially recording comedy skits before pivoting to let’s plays. His breakout momentum surged through fast-paced, high-energy gaming formats, most notably indie horror playthroughs and fan-submitted compilations on his "Spooky Scary Sunday" series. Unlike creators who rely on deadpan delivery, Williams uses total-body comedy. He dives out of his gaming chair, speaks directly to inanimate props, and pulls intense facial expressions directly into the camera lens.

The "big mouth" laugh surfaced organically during these marathon sessions. During a tense moment in an indie title, later compounded by sessions in his "CoryxKenshin Try Not to Laugh" series, a sudden absurd glitch or comedic fail broke his concentration. Williams threw his head back, opening his mouth wide in an explosive, breathless laugh. The visual was striking: completely unvarnished, sharp-edged, and kinetic. Community members on Reddit and Twitter quickly screencapped the frame, passing it around as a badge of classic Cory behavior.
