Croft did not arrive at studio headliner status through social media visibility. Her foundation began in the Australian theater circuit. Raised in Sydney, she earned her theatrical credits at just 9 years old, starring as Scout Finch in a 2014 stage production of To Kill a Mockingbird. Critics took note of her instinctive stage control, which quickly opened doors to Australian screen opportunities.
Her television debut arrived in 2016 through the long-running Australian soap opera Home and Away, where she portrayed Bella Loneragan across five episodes. That same year, film director Shane Abbess cast Croft alongside Kellan Lutz in the science fiction feature The Osiris Child: Science Fiction Volume One. Croft, then only 12, carried significant emotional weight as Indi Sommerville, navigating an alien-infested penal colony. The performance demonstrated an unusual dramatic poise that drew attention from American casting directors.
