Steph Curry's Most Viral Shot Memes: from Chris Paul's Fall to Late-Game Daggers

Your complete guide to Steph Curry's Most Viral Shot Memes: from Chris Paul's Fall to Late-Game Daggers, covering in-depth facts.

The visual resonated because of the personalities involved. Paul was the "Point God," widely revered as one of the most ruthless, disciplined perimeter defenders in modern league history. Seeing an elite defensive floor general collapse into a tangled heap offered sheer novelty. The internet seized on the contrast.

The image worked because Curry did not simply beat his man; Paul's limbs folded like a deck of cards. Online creators recognized the comic potential in that posture. Instead of mocking an injury, the internet turned the fall into absurd physical comedy:

• The Twister Mat: Editors keyed out the hardwood and replaced it with a plastic Hasbro game mat, placing Paul's right hand directly on a red circle.
• The Dolphin Dive: Underwater recreations showed Paul plunging through tropical coral reefs.
• The Slip 'N Slide: Streamers placed inflatable water toys underneath him alongside summer pool party graphics.

Paul handled the public ribbing with self-deprecating humor. He even shared one of the memes himself the following day, recognizing that fighting the wave was impossible once social media found its punchline.
