Standing an astonishing 12 feet tall on his hind legs and weighing over 2,000 pounds during his life, Goliath was recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest Kodiak brown bear held in human care. Goliath lived at Space Farms for two decades, dying of natural causes in 1991. Today, his professionally preserved mount stands inside the primary museum hall, his enormous claws and towering silhouette leaving visitors speechless.

The rooms feature thousands of Native American arrowheads and stone artifacts gathered from the Wallkill River basin, an armory of antique firearms dating back to the American Revolution, and glass cases packed with historic clocks, musical instruments, and children's toys from the 1800s. The sheer density of items reflects an obsession with material culture that modern municipal preservationists could never replicate.
