'Send Help' Streaming Premiere: May 7 Official Launch on Hulu and Disney+
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
The simultaneous arrival of Send Help on both Hulu and Disney+ illustrates how effectively Disney has collapsed its disparate streaming identities into a unified distribution engine. Rather than segregating mature genre fare behind obscure digital storefronts, the studio leverages high-profile talent, pairing an iconic director like Raimi with proven box-office names, to command subscriber retention during the competitive early summer window. As audiences settle in for the May 7 premiere, Send Help stands out as a sharp, unapologetic survival thriller that proves theatrical craft translates effortlessly to home screens.
