Real Flavor Test: Miami Mint Geek Bar Sweetness, Ice Level, and Battery Life
The primary failure point of high-capacity disposables is cotton degradation long before the e-liquid reservoir runs dry. Sweeteners like sucralose caramelize when subjected to repeated heat cycles, depositing black carbon crust across heating elements. This process ruins flavor clarity, introducing an acrid taste commonly called flavor burnoff.
The Geek Bar Pulse uses an alternating dual mesh coil structure. In Regular mode, the internal MCU switches current between coil A and coil B every few draws. This rotation prevents localized hot spots and allows the organic cotton wick time to resaturate with e-liquid.
Our stress testing monitored flavor quality as the device approached zero liquid:
- 100% to 50% Liquid Level: Crisp, clean flavor profile. Sweet spearmint dominates, with icy notes hitting immediately.
- 50% to 20% Liquid Level: Zero reduction in vapor volume. Cooling additive retains its sharpness; sweet profile settles slightly as viscosity thickens.
- 20% to 5% Liquid Level: The coil displays minimal caramelization. Flavor stays consistent without dry hits, provided users pause 5 to 10 seconds between draws.
- Below 5% Liquid Level: The internal chip restricts output to protect against total wick incineration. A minor drop in sweetness occurs, but the vapor avoids a burnt finish until the tank runs completely dry.
