Ranni's Questline Path: When and How to Grab Nokstella's Golden Seed

From major highlights to background context, understand everything about Ranni's Questline Path: When and How to Grab Nokstella's Golden Seed in our latest feature.

Standing at the Nokstella, Eternal City Site of Grace, the visual architecture tricks your brain. A massive stone staircase rises sharply to the left, adorned with torches and patrolling swordswomen. Standard exploration instincts urge you to climb. Doing so pulls you into a multi-tiered maze of mimic spheres, silver tears falling from ceilings, and tough Nox swordstresses. While valuable talismans and Moon of Nokstella sit atop those roofs, the Golden Seed is not up there.

Ignore the grand stairs entirely. Keep your boots in the shallow river channel and head southwest directly along the water level. The canal bends gently through a canyon beneath the towering city arches. Here, the threats shift from humanoid duelists to elemental hazards.

Electric Silver Tears drop into the water, discharging spherical lightning pulses that ripple through the liquid. Keep moving forward along the left shoreline to avoid conductivity damage. You will spot a contingent of shield-bearing ant mounts and snails resting near the canyon bends. You can sprint past every single enemy along this lower path without swinging your weapon once.

As the canal approaches the stone wall at its southwestern dead end, look closely at the left embankment. Rooted in the soil right next to the water sits a glowing, slender Phantom Tree sapling. Approach the base and interact with it to claim your Golden Seed. Just past this tree sits an arched doorway housing an elevator that drops you straight down toward the deeper river levels.
