Proof Roblox Isn’t Deleting Accounts: What Official Statements and Code Actually Reveal
By James H. Sterling
Evaluating online claims requires minimal technical effort once you know where real information lives. Bad actors rely on emotional manipulation, urgency, and sloppy visual counterfeits to generate attention.
First, inspect the source handle and publishing domain. Official statements only appear on roblox.com, the official developer forum (devforum.roblox.com), or verified corporate social handles carrying official platform verification marks. If a viral video shows a screenshot of a post, check the official account directly; if the post does not exist there, the screenshot was created using browser developer tools.
Second, look for standard software terminology. Corporate notices explain specific feature retirements using precise deprecation windows, backward compatibility guidelines, and migration paths for developers. Pranks and hoaxes use generic, apocalyptic language like "all accounts will be permanently erased" or "the servers will close forever due to high maintenance."
