Olive Garden Brings Back Never-Ending Pasta Bowl: Launch Dates, Full Menu Options, and Updates
Despite the "unlimited" branding, strict kitchen policies govern how the promotion runs on the restaurant floor. These guidelines safeguard food waste while preventing dining room bottlenecks during peak dinner rushes.
First, the deal applies strictly to dine-in meals only. Takeout orders, curbside pickup, and third-party delivery orders cannot access bottomless refills. Second, Olive Garden enforces a rigid no-sharing rule. Refills are restricted exclusively to the specific diner who purchased the promotion. If companions share portions across the table, servers are instructed by management to bill those diners for extra adult entrees.
Refill sizing follows a distinct rhythm. The initial serving arrives in a large, standard entree presentation bowl. Subsequent orders, however, come plated in smaller, heat-retaining side dishes containing roughly half the carbohydrate volume of the initial round. This prevents half-eaten pasta from cooling and congealing on the table. Crucially, patrons cannot pack remaining refills into to-go boxes. Diners may take home any leftover portions from their first bowl, but subsequent refill bowls must be eaten on site.
