Nyc Broadway Week Fall 2026 Officially Opens: Full Schedule and 25-Show Lineup
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
The 25-show roster balances legendary commercial pillars with critical darling revivals and recent Tony Award contenders. Established blockbusters like The Lion King, Wicked, Aladdin, and Hamilton have allocated limited mid-week ticket blocks, while contemporary favorites and star-driven plays represent the bulk of the weekend inventory.
Audiences tracking recent Playbill announcements will find popular recent arrivals included alongside long-running staples. Musicals such as Hadestown, Moulin Rouge!, Six, and MJ The Musical remain central to the fall Broadway season promotion. Straight plays, which generally feature shorter limited engagements, are also heavily represented, allowing theatergoers to see acclaimed celebrity performances at a fraction of standard weekend costs.
