Nfl Tv Schedule This Weekend: Coverage Maps, Channels, and Local Broadcast Windows
By Sarah Jenkins
Q1: Why is my local Fox station showing an infomercial at 4:00 PM while CBS has a game on?
A1: This occurs due to the singleheader rule. When Fox holds singleheader rights for a given week, each local affiliate can broadcast only one game across the day. If your station aired a 1:00 PM ET game, it is legally barred from airing an NFL broadcast in the late window.
Q2: Can I watch out-of-market games on Paramount+ or the Fox Sports app?
A2: No. Paramount+ streams exclusively the live broadcast of your local CBS affiliate based on your physical device location or IP address. To watch an out-of-market team, you must subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket or wait for their national primetime appearances.
Q3: Does an over-the-air antenna pick up all Sunday afternoon games?
A3: An antenna picks up every game broadcast by your local CBS and Fox affiliates for free in uncompressed high definition. However, it will not bypass local market assignments; you still receive only the specific regional game sent to your television market.
