Miku Expo 2026 Merch Buyer’s Guide: Venues, Pop-Ups, Pricing, and Stock Tips

Waving light sticks is a core part of Vocaloid live culture, but Crypton maintains strict technical rules inside the auditorium. Only official Crypton-licensed battery-powered light sticks and unmodified, low-output chemical glow sticks under 10 inches are permitted on the show floor. Generic ultra-bright LED batons (such as high-output King Blade models running custom software) risk confiscation at the gate.
The rules exist for performance visibility and performer safety. High-lumen commercial flashlights wash out transparent projection displays and disrupt synchronized color changes during the performance. Each official wand features custom color-matching profiles mapped precisely to the performing vocaloid: blue-green for Miku, yellow for Rin and Len, pink for Luka, red for MEIKO, and blue for KAITO. Bring three fresh AAA batteries per wand into the venue. Merch stands do not distribute spares, and dead batteries during the encore are a recurring headache for unprepared fans.
