Meredith the Cat's Custom Apartment Tour: Photos, Decor Details, and Furnishings
By Alexander Ross
The visual centerpiece of Meredith’s custom apartment is her miniature living room suite. A structured, upholstered miniature cat couch anchors the primary wall, finished in neutral performance fabric that resists claw pulls while providing orthopedic support for long midday naps. Draped casually over the armrest is a micro-woven throw blanket, paired with miniature accent pillows that mirror contemporary human living trends.
Surrounding the seating area is a micro gallery wall. The frames sit mere inches above the baseboards, displaying custom feline portraits, tiny botanical illustrations, and whimsical landscape prints sized precisely for Meredith’s resting eye level. Floating display shelves nearby hold miniature decor objects, ceramic bookends, and low-profile planters containing pet-safe greenery like wheatgrass and spider plant cuttings.
Lighting receives equal consideration. Warm, indirect ambient fixtures illuminate the room rather than harsh overhead LEDs, creating a low-stress environment that suits feline vision. The flooring features a soft, low-pile accent rug set over finished hardwood, ensuring Meredith can stretch out without sliding or gathering dog hair from the rest of the house.
