Uncovering Playtime Co lore is a hallmark of the series, and Chapter 5 hides two critical VHS tapes in Lily Lovebraids' zone that clarify the Bigger Bodies Initiative timeline.

The Lavender VHS Tape sits hidden within the employee breakroom locker behind the Dye Mixing Bay. To open it, use your GrabPack to pull down the loose ceiling tile and retrieve the small brass key. Playing this tape on the portable VCR monitor in the staging office reveals clinical logs maintained by Dr. Harley Sawyer dating back to November 1993. The recording details Experiment 1198, noting that test subject Clara Vance, a nine-year-old child from the onsite Playtime Co. orphanage, demonstrated remarkable neurological integration with high-tensile artificial threading, yielding an exceptionally agile bio-mechanical frame.

The Slate-Grey VHS Tape requires solving an environmental platforming riddle in the rafters above the primary loom. Nestled inside a discarded shipping crate, this tape captures the harrowing moments of the factory's 1995 operational collapse. Factory workers can be heard frantically barricading the Weaving Wing doors while Lily's elongated braids can be heard whipping through the air-conditioning shafts. These logs confirm Lily was not merely an aggressive experiment; she was actively weaponized by the factory's central cabal to prevent staff from escaping the lower levels during the mass uprising.
