Like Mother, Like Daughter: Visual Proof of India Eisley's Olivia Hussey Lineage
Eisley's artistic roots extend beyond her mother. Her father is David Glen Eisley, an American rock singer and actor best known as the frontman for the 1980s melodic rock band Giuffria. His soaring vocals powered the power ballad "Call to the Heart" and later reached a modern generation through "Sweet Victory," the rock anthem featured in the iconic 2001 SpongeBob SquarePants Super Bowl episode.
Hussey married David Glen Eisley in 1991, creating a home filled with script readings and recording sessions. India was born two years later, on October 29, 1993, in Los Angeles.
The household was already steeped in entertainment history through Hussey’s earlier marriages. Eisley has two maternal half-brothers who anchor distinct branches of pop culture:
- Alexander Martin: Born in 1973 to Olivia Hussey and actor Dean Paul Martin. This connection makes Alexander the grandson of legendary Rat Pack crooner Dean Martin. Alexander pursued acting and writing, keeping the mid-century Hollywood connection alive.
- Maximillian Fuse: Born in 1983 during Hussey’s marriage to Japanese singer and entertainer Akira Fuse. Maximillian chose a more private path outside the film industry, living largely away from Hollywood red carpets.
Growing up as the youngest child and only daughter, Eisley observed the realities of the business long before attending her first studio call.
