Jocelyn Flores Cause of Death: Examining Official Police Reports and Verified Facts
By Elena Rostova
Jocelyn Amparo Flores grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. Friends and relatives remembered her as an artistic, sensitive teenager who wrestled privately with severe depression. In early 2017, she connected over social media with South Florida rapper Jahseh Onfroy, known professionally as XXXTentacion, whose own career was accelerating rapidly following his release from jail.
Onfroy invited Flores to Florida in May 2017 to model for his Revenge apparel brand. Excited by the creative opportunity, she flew south to stay at the Hampton Inn in Coconut Creek, roughly 15 miles north of Fort Lauderdale. The visit quickly turned volatile.
During the weekend stay, an argument erupted inside the hotel room involving Flores, Onfroy, and another woman over missing money. The dispute led to Onfroy leaving the premises. Left alone in room 212 of the Hampton Inn Coconut Creek, Flores faced an overwhelming emotional crisis that escalated out of sight of hotel staff and acquaintances.
