How to Delete a Pinterest Account on Mobile and Desktop: Step-by-Step Walkthrough

If you prefer using a desktop browser settings menu, the path involves fewer mobile prompts and provides clear oversight of your profile controls.
Open your browser of choice, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge, and navigate to Pinterest.com. Log in with your standard credentials.
Click the directional down arrow icon located in the upper-right corner of the navigation bar, right beside your user avatar. From the drop-down menu, select Settings.
On the left navigation rail, click Account management. Scroll down past your basic profile details, language choices, and search privacy toggles until you see the section labeled "Account changes".
Find the row titled Delete account and click the corresponding button on the right side. A pop-up dialog box explains the consequences of the purge. Click Continue. Select a reason for leaving, then confirm by selecting Send email.
Check your desktop email inbox immediately. Open the message issued by Pinterest security and click the confirmation email link. A browser tab will open confirming that your deletion request is active.
