Which Country Does Brock Lesnar Actually Belong to? the Dual Nation Mystery Explained
By Elena Rostova
While Lesnar flies the Canadian banner in mixed martial arts, professional wrestling maintains a completely different narrative framework. In WWE programming, ring announcers routinely bill him from Minneapolis, Minnesota, or simply announce him as hailing from "Suplex City." This billing honors the region where he built his combat aura during his collegiate wrestling prime.
WWE rarely references his Maryfield homestead during television broadcasts. The promotion prefers to position Lesnar as an unstoppable Midwestern force whose pedigree aligns with classic Big Ten amateur wrestling traditions. Outside the ring, however, Lesnar makes no effort to hide his real domicile. He routinely wears hunting apparel from Saskatchewan-based outfits and trains in private gym facilities built directly inside his Canadian compound.
