Is Divorced Sistas Cancelled or Renewed? Fact-Checking the Fate of Tyler Perry's Drama
By Elena Rostova
Tracking the transition from linear cable spin-offs to unified streaming anchors highlights how Perry’s production cadence outpaces traditional Hollywood timelines. The table below outlines key benchmark metrics across recent updates within Tyler Perry Studios and Paramount Global.
| Series Title | Current Status | Episode Order | Primary Platform |
|---|---|---|---|
| Divorced Sistas | Renewed for Season 2 | 10, 12 Episodes (TBD) | Paramount+ |
| Tyler Perry's Zatima | Renewed for Season 6 | 16 Episodes | Paramount+ |
| Tyler Perry's Sistas | Active Linear Run | 22 Episodes per cycle | BET / Linear Cable |
The speed of Perry’s Atlanta studio complex means turnaround times remain remarkably tight. A full 10-to-16-episode season of a Perry drama is routinely filmed across just two to three weeks of high-intensity principal photography. Because of this workflow, the post-production window determines broadcast schedules far more than on-set production delays.
