Inside Leah Jeffries' Tiktok Surge: How the 'Percy Jackson' Star Won over the Internet
By Maya Lin-Takahashi
The show lives or dies on the bond between Percy, Annabeth, and Grover. Studio casting directors can test screen chemistry for months, yet audiences often detect forced camaraderie in seconds. On TikTok, the dynamic between Jeffries, Walker Scobell, and Aryan Simhadri felt undeniably real.
Short video clips showed the trio executing synchronized dances in full Camp Half-Blood armor, tumbling across soundstages in Vancouver, and roasting each other between grueling stunt rehearsals. One recurring format featured Scobell and Simhadri attempting viral dance routines under Jeffries' strict supervision, consistently failing while she executed every move with practiced precision.
These spontaneous glimpses humanized the production. Fans began assembling compilation videos, cataloging individual running jokes across multiple seasons. That engagement bridged the months-long gulf between streaming drops, keeping Percy Jackson and the Olympians dominating algorithmic feeds during long post-production pauses.
