Ice Spice and Michael Porter Jr. Dating Buzz: What Really Happened Behind the Viral Tiktok
By David Miller
The Porter Jr. situation was not the first time digital audiences paired Ice Spice with a professional sports star. In late 2025, Sauce Gardner dating rumors flared up after the New York Jets cornerback and the rapper were spotted together at several public events. Unlike the basketball rumors, which stemmed from a single video snippet, observers tracked Gardner and Ice Spice attending multiple outings beginning in early 2025, keeping fan interest burning for months.
Alongside the romantic gossip, Ice Spice frequently becomes a staple of lighthearted audio trends. Her humorous connection to the "Big Guy SpongeBob song", a nostalgic, satirical remix that paired animated cartoon audio with drill sensibilities, became an inescapable earworm in early 2026. Millions of TikTok videos featured users acting out comedic skits over the sound, cementing her standing as an artist whose persona effortlessly intersects with web humor.
These moments prove that her digital reach extends beyond conventional rap radio. She functions as a cultural utility on the app: her cadences become audio templates, her outfits spawn styling aesthetics, and her casual conversations turn into breaking celebrity headlines.
