When their cover of Nicki Minaj's hit single "Super Bass" exploded across YouTube in September 2011, Sophia Grace Brownlee was an outspoken eight-year-old and Rosie McClelland was her quiet, five-year-old hype girl. Fast forward to 2026, and the chronological math still catches casual fans off guard.
Sophia Grace Brownlee is 23 years old, having celebrated her birthday in April. Rosie McClelland is 19 years old and approaches her twentieth birthday in September. The four-year age gap between the cousins remains identical, but the stage of life they occupy looks drastically different from their days fielding softballs from Hollywood celebrities.
The duo spent their childhood flying back and forth between London and Burbank, California. Ellen DeGeneres quickly made the British pair permanent fixtures on her daytime program, booking them for red carpet interviews, musical segments, and feature films. Today, the tiaras and lace dresses are gone, replaced by independent adult ventures and separate public profiles.
