Ginger Snaps Vestron Video 4K Uhd Review: the Return of the Cult Horror Classic
By Alexander Ross
The Vestron Video Collector’s Series edition of Ginger Snaps sets a new standard for Canadian cult cinema on physical media. By refusing to digitize away the grit, grain, and practical makeup craft that made the 2000 indie so striking, Lionsgate's technical team has delivered a transfer that honors the original creative vision.
Pairing a stable 4K presentation with a rich historical record of its creation, this release cements the film's standing as a permanent fixture of millennial horror. For collectors and genre historians, the definitive version of the Fitzgerald sisters' tragedy has finally arrived.
