From Disney Channel Fame to Marital Privacy: the Eric Lively & Angelina Davydova Timeline
Eric Lively entered the entertainment industry almost by birthright. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Los Angeles, he grew up as the son of late character actor Ernie Lively and talent manager Elaine Lively. The household operated as an incubator for performing talent. His sister Blake Lively would become an international marquee star, his elder sister Robyn Lively broke out in the cult classic Teen Witch, and half-siblings Lori and Jason Lively each secured recognizable film and television credits throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
That upbringing provided unusual access and early professional expectations. Eric made an uncredited appearance as a toddler in the 1983 sci-fi project Brainstorm, but his real push into the business occurred during his late teens. Rather than following an exclusively commercial route, he initially decamped to New York City to study photography at Parsons School of Design. Acting, however, pulled him back. Modeling contracts for Abercrombie & Fitch led quickly to network auditions, placing him on the casting circuit just as youth-oriented television exploded at the turn of the millennium.
