From 2014 to Today: the Complete Timeline of Kim of Queens Pageant Careers
By Chloe Bennett
Q1: Did any cast member from Kim of Queens ever win a state title?
A1: Outside of Kim Gravel herself winning Miss Georgia 1991, none of the students featured on the Lifetime reality show captured a Miss America state-level title as adults.
Q2: Why did so many girls from the show stop competing in pageants?
A2: High-level competitive pageantry requires thousands of dollars annually in coaching fees, custom wardrobe, travel, and talent accompaniment. Most cast members aged out of youth divisions and chose college, traditional careers, or artistic endeavors over the grueling local preliminary circuit.
Q3: Is the Pageant Place still operating today?
A3: Kim Gravel shifted her primary business focus away from full-time private pageant coaching toward her QVC fashion brands, national podcasting, public speaking tours, and executive media production.
