Free Milwaukee Batteries Return to Home Depot: Inside the Viral Spring Black Friday Tool Bundles
By Alexander Ross
Q1: Are the free batteries offered during Spring Black Friday standard capacity or High Output versions?
A1: Home Depot offers both depending on the promotional tier. Lower-tier M18 promotions pair bare tools with standard 5.0Ah XC packs, while flagship M18 Fuel bundles include High Output XC 6.0Ah or 8.0Ah batteries. Always verify the exact model number printed on the promotional shelf tag before checking out.
Q2: Can I return the free promotional battery while keeping the bare tool?
A2: Yes, provided the promotion is structured as two individual SKUs scanned separately at the register. The receipt calculates an itemized prorated value for each product. You can return the sealed, unused battery to customer service for a partial refund equal to its assigned value.
Q3: How long do Home Depot's Spring Black Friday tool promotions run?
A3: These promotions typically run from late March through late April or early May, aligning with early seasonal construction demand. Stock for popular bare tools and high-capacity battery bundles often sells out at the local store level well before the formal promotional period wraps up.
Q4: Do bare tools purchased through these promotional bundles carry full factory warranties?
A4: Yes. Milwaukee power tools purchased at Home Depot retain their standard five-year manufacturer warranty, while battery packs carry a separate two-to-three-year warranty. You can register your equipment on the Milwaukee eService portal using your Home Depot printed receipt or digital order invoice.
