Fact-Checking Jeffree Star's Tiktok Controversies: the Ice Comments and Dating Rumors
By Sophia Al-Mansoor
Q1: Did Jeffree Star actually vacation with NFL receiver Stefon Diggs on a yacht?
No. The claim originated from speculative fan edits and content accounts that merged unrelated travel videos with Diggs' public social media footage. Neither Star nor Diggs verified the sighting, and Star confirmed he was at his Wyoming residence when the rumor circulated.
Q2: What was the real context behind Jeffree Star's viral ICE comments?
The viral audio was clipped from an extended TikTok Live session. Star was mocking an anonymous commenter who had entered the stream making bigoted statements toward a guest. Bad-faith accounts edited out the setup, making it falsely appear that Star was threatening an audience member with federal deportation.
Q3: Why did Jeffree Star and Beast Games star Jim Bent get into a public dispute?
The feud erupted on a shared TikTok Live split-screen after Bent criticized Star's retail selling methods on the platform. The conversation quickly devolved into personal insults regarding television fame, authenticity, and internet longevity, drawing tens of thousands of real-time spectators.
